ASFA HOLDING CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD ASAF ATASOY’S MESSAGE FOR ATATURK’S MEMORY DAY, NOVEMBER 10
ASFA HOLDING Chairman of the Board of Directors, Philanthropist and Businessman Asaf ATASOY, published a commemorative message on the 86th anniversary of the death of Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the founder of the Republic of Turkey.
ASFA HOLDING Chairman of the Board of Directors Asaf ATASOY included the following statements in his message;
As the Turkish Nation, we once again commemorate with mercy, gratitude and appreciation the founder of our Republic and the architect of our independence, Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, whom we sent to the eternal world on November 10, 1938, on the 86th anniversary of his death.
Atatürk, who attributed all of his achievements, especially the Republic, the greatest work created with democratic, secular and contemporary values, to the Great Turkish Nation, earned the admiration and respect of even his enemies with his combative personality, ideas and indestructible works he left behind. He worked tirelessly for the welfare of our nation until the last moments of his life and did not hesitate to make any sacrifices for this cause.
Because when he said, “Sovereignty belongs to the Nation unconditionally and unrestrictedly,” he trusted in the determination, courage, faith and determination of his Nation while entrusting the Republic to the Turkish Youth.
How fortunate that today, with the inspiration we receive from his ideas, foresight and works, we continue on our way without any obstacles to ensure that our Turkey lives in peace, tranquility and prosperity as long as the world stands. The fact that our country has been experiencing great developments and transformations in almost every field in the recent past, our increasing prestige in our region and in the world, and the giant steps we have taken as a Nation in the direction of contemporary civilization are obvious indicators of this.
Therefore, it should never be forgotten that commemorating Atatürk is possible by walking resolutely on the path illuminated by his principles, by protecting the Republic he founded, his principles and reforms, complete independence, and our indivisible integrity within our national borders.
With these feelings and thoughts, I respectfully remember the precious memory of the Chief Teacher, the Eternal Commander-in-Chief, Ghazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, and pray to God to grant him, his Heroic Comrades-in-Arms, our Holy Martyrs and our Glorious Veterans who have passed away.
May their souls rest in peace.
